Myrto Joined Bryden Wood in October 2016, after completing her Bachelors Degree in Architecture at the University of Brighton.
During the course of her degree, Myrto developed projects of various scales, which allowed her to explore different sides of the architectural practice. Her University work shows a clear interest in the ways strategic design can have a positive impact at a city scale by developing relationships between the architecture, the city and the public. Myrto has also studied the subject of Architectural Regionalism and Sustainable development and the different ways Identity and Modernity can be combined to create a more sustainable and respectful model of construction.
Since joining Bryden Wood, Myrto has been involved in Circle Birmingham Hospital, ESFA Secondary School Component Design and Strand East projects. Her engagement with three very different projects and different design stages has helped Myrto to broaden her knowledge and skills. She has focused on the interior design of the Hospital, component design for secondary school departments and tender packages for Strand East Development. Myrto aims to develop her 3D modelling and visualisation skills and be able to contribute in design development using these tools.
