Rosa Gimeno Hidalgo

Rosa Gimeno Hidalgo

Architecture | Architectural Assistant | MArch

Rosa joined Bryden Wood in April 2017. After completing her Architecture studies at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2015, she has been involved in different projects across Spain and UK.

Prior to Bryden Wood, Rosa worked at a London-based studio for over a year. During this period she developed her skills in Interior Design, focusing on small scale, construction details and materiality. Her experience includes residential, hospitality, urban planning and refurbishment projects.

Since joining our practice Rosa has been involved in space planning for offices. Starting from the understanding of client’s working methods she has collaborated in the development of design principles, subsequently applying those to a number of properties. The aim of these feasibility studies is to create a bespoke and efficient office design that represents the client’s identity and work culture.

Rosa has a keen interest in the social role of Architecture, especially in educational, public building and urban projects that can create cohesion and transform the urban space. For her final thesis Rosa explored the possibilities through a public school project on the private and public spatial limits of the city. She focused her research in the different ways architecture can occupy the public space to make an impact and improve the social connection between the city and the people.
