Your main role is to work closely with project directors and job runners to ensure that project budgeting, invoicing, costs, and profits are all running smoothly within the company. You will monitor the progress of projects to make sure that they are working within their budget limits and will generate progress reports to project directors and job runners. You will also make suggestions on cost areas which you feel improvements could be made on. Your responsibilities will reflect the timely and cost-efficient competition of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring project activities
  • Oversee project budgeting, fee forecasting, and monthly invoicing
  • Generating and reporting regular project financial data such as spend profiles, budgeted and earned values, forecast invoices and resources, and completion costs.
  • Adding New Starters into our Software System
  • Adding New Projects into our Software System
  • Updating Project status, workstages/variations and fees within our Software System

Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and mastery of the English language
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently with self-managed projects 
  • Positive / Proactive / self-starting
  • Working knowledge of Excel preferred
