We are looking for a versatile, energetic, and ambitious mid-weight Graphic Designer to join our team. If successful, you will produce engaging and visually striking designs, working on briefs from branding to videos to infographics.

If you’re passionate about design with a portfolio showing a range of creative projects, this is the job for you.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • delivering engaging digital/print design solutions including branding, publications, illustrations, dynamic infographics and promotional videos
  • editing images to a high standard for presentations, social media and company website 
  • working with a range of internal clients, on a variety of projects – discussing each job, understanding the audience, considering practical solutions and developing your ideas and creative concepts
  • working to agreed deadlines and budgets, following brand guidelines, industry design standards and accessibility guidelines
  • delivering excellent customer service, demonstrating an understanding of the project priorities and constraints and providing clear and timely communications
  • managing multiple projects at once, allocating time effectively and keeping the team updated on progress
  • presenting ideas and concepts
  • incorporating feedback amending designs accordingly
  • working effectively as part of a team with the other disciplines in the office
  • line management of a junior graphic designer


Essential experience and personal skills

  • relevant level of industry experience
  • creative flair, originality, and a strong visual sense
  • in-depth knowledge of graphic design principles, styles and layout techniques
  • excellent working knowledge across a wide range of media, and with applying a brand identity across multiple channels, platforms, and tools.
  • qualification in graphic design/visual communication
  • excellent knowledge of industry standard design applications – Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and ideally After Effects / Premier.
  • familiarity with accessibility principles and guidelines
  • familiarity in website CMS for upload of information and news
  • awareness of emerging design trends and technologies
  • the ability to grasp client needs and consider practical solutions
  • excellent communication and written skills, with the confidence to present and explain ideas to an audience
  • the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines with accuracy and speed
  • good teamworking skills
  • experience creating content for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • An interest in architecture and the built environment
