Part 2 Architectural assistant

Bryden Wood London is seeking 6 architectural assistants to join our young, dynamic, international architectural team. Bryden Wood’s integrated design team works across a broad range of sectors and is looking for architectural assistants who can work on projects at varying stages of development, from concept through to delivery. You will be working closely with our Creative Technologies, Structural, Civils and Building Service Engineering teams to develop these complex and exciting projects.  You will also have the opportunity to work in direct contact with our clients to enable rapid scheme development and collaboration with specialist knowledge input. Bryden Wood professional training programme supports and encourages all Part 2 Architectural Assistants who wish to study for their professional exams.

We require architectural assistants to work on a series of new projects, which include:

  • A new central London healthcare project
  • Several medium to large scale residential schemes in London
  • New aviation projects
  • New pharmaceutical projects

You should have:

  • Successfully completed RIBA Part 1 and Part 2 courses (or equivalent overseas education), and have some previous professional experience
  • Enthusiastic and open approach to feedback from senior management
  • Ability to support project teams and actively ensure the project deadlines are met
  • Good/Intermediate knowledge of software (we primarily use Revit/Adobe suite), or a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Well organised/disciplined and good presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and solution-based approach to problem solving
