We are looking for ambitious civil or structural engineering graduates to work in the exciting and fast-paced design environment of our central London offices. Bryden Wood is an award winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice which pioneers innovation of the construction industry.
As a graduate engineer you will work within an exciting and fast-paced design environment, contributing collaboratively with the multiple disciplines at Bryden Wood. Projects range from airports, to hospitals and from large scale residential developments to individual luxury villas.
You will work under the guidance of the senior engineering team but with early exposure to design decision making and direct client engagement.
The appropriate candidate will hold a minimum of an upper-second class honours degree in civil or structural engineering and possess a strong academic background. A good understanding of the principles of super and sub-structure design using traditional construction materials (including steel and concrete), as well as a firm grounding in geotechnical design, is expected.
Essential is to be proactive and have a creative approach to problem solving, supported by a strong analytical ability and capacity to work well with others. Familiarity of UK design codes and Eurocodes is required.
