Bryden Wood assisted in the creation of Mott MacDonald’s recently published report - ‘Engineering Hope’. The report considers a humane and sustainable solution to the global refugee crisis. 65 million people have been displaced from their homes, by conflicts, natural disasters and climate change.
Bryden Wood’s innovative ‘Factory in a Box’ solution, developed for GlaxoSmithKline was featured as an exemplar in the use of design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA), to rapidly bring high quality buildings to challenging locations, using workers without specialist skills.
Tim Ryan, director and DfMA lead at Bryden Wood, also presented at the Engineering Hope launch event on 6th June.
