The Bryden Wood Churchwood Gardens development in Forest Hill, Lewisham, London is approaching its final stage of construction. The scheme is formed of nine buildings, each incorporating a stepped profile allowing for the formation of a cascade of ‘green’ roof spaces at alternative levels. Each building has a closed façade, which faces the boundary, and an open façade containing large areas of glazing and boundaries facing into the development.
Paul O’Neill – Bryden Wood Director said: “We are really pleased how the scheme is progressing on site. The design not only maximised the site’s developable potential, it also respects and responds to the ecological features of the site. It really is fantastic to see it come to life. Once the new landscaping is formed and palnted, it will create a great sense of place”.
