Bashar is highly skilled in numerical analysis and specialized in designing midrise and tall buildings with height more than 200 meters, as well as investigating new technologies in civil and structural engineering.

He is also dedicated to developing new interface applications with Finite Elements and CAD programs for automated design, detailing and optimization.

On joining BW in October 2017, Bashar has worked on innovative projects and advanced seismic assessment of structures located in highly seismic zones. He has been responsible on the structural design of the new development De-Risk TATA steel warehouse, and recently he is involved in the systemization of the civil and structural engineering studies in Highways England project.

Previously, Bashar has worked on different projects in Europe, Middle East, Latin and Central America. He successfully delivered complex commercial, residential, transportation and defence projects, where he contributed to the numerical simulation, design and construction. He also participated to the development of new technologies in civil engineering such as light weight temporary membrane structures and inflatable portable bridges.
