Hristo Dobrev joined Bryden Wood in August 2018 as part of the Creative Technologies team.

He has completed both his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Manchester School of Architecture. His thesis research and design project was situated in an extrapolated future scenario and revolved around future technologies, driverless cars and automated on-demand services, which earned him a distinction.

Prior to Bryden Wood, Hristo has worked on a variety of residential, student residential and office developments both in the UK and abroad. A number of them include prominent student residential schemes in landmark urban sites and a highly sensitive site in Central Oxford close to listed gardens, heritage assets and a list Grade 1 20th century development.

Now his belief in the digital future and new design techniques have encouraged him to start working at Bryden Wood. Since starting, Hristo has managed to sustain and improve his interests in parametric design and computation, by working on a Digital Toolkit for Precision Manufactured Housing. He believes that the profession would adopt such techniques and approach to design in the near future even more and further benefit from it.
