Hristo Dobrev joined Bryden Wood in August 2018 as part of the Creative Technologies team.

He completed both his Bachelor's and Master’s degree at Manchester School of Architecture, and is registered as an Architect with the ARB after obtaining his professional diploma from the University of Westminster.

Before joining Bryden Wood, Hristo worked on a variety of residential, student residential and office developments both in the UK and abroad.

It was his belief in the digital future and new design techniques that encouraged him to join Bryden Wood. Hristo has managed to sustain and improve his interests in parametric design and computation by working on a digital toolkit for Precision Manufactured Housing (PRiSM) and on the Rapid Engineering Model (REM) for smart motorways. He believes in the benefit to the industry of adopting new technology and smarter ways to design.

After two years in the Creative Technologies team, Hristo joined the Architecture team and has worked on a major tunnel refurbishment project, applying and evolving his knowledge within computation and DfMA approach. He has also worked on a number of data centre projects, employing modern methods of construction (MMC).
