Thomas Chalk joined Bryden Wood in July 2016, as the second apprentice to be employed by Bryden Wood, where he hopes to gain a lot of experience.

Over his time at Bryden Wood, he has been involved in various projects at various construction stages ranging from residential buildings, government buildings and also a Precious metal refinery. He is currently learning new computer programs to aid his engineering knowledge and to aid his development in modern engineering practices.

Thomas hopes to use the knowledge gained at BrydenWood and knowledge gained from his further education studies to progress within the engineering field. Within his four years of being employed by Bryden Wood, he will be a few steps closer to achieving his goal of becoming a fully qualified engineer. Thomas has a few engineering long-term goals. One of which is to become a chartered engineer.
