Bryden Wood’s role is to rationalise and expand the Clinic’s facilities to improve efficiency and increase capacity. Bryden Wood have designed, and are currently implementing a building services framework that will enable The London Clinic to meet current demand and plan for a legacy of development in the future.
Part of Bryden Wood’s integrated approach has involved delivering the project within the limited working hours at the Clinic, with particular care taken in the phasing of work and the methods of construction used to minimise the impact of construction work on nearby residents and recovering inpatients.
By using 3D digital modelling across integrated disciplines, Bryden Wood have been able to deliver the complex technical and spatial requirement of a world class healthcare facility within the sensitive medical and architectural limitation of a confined central London site.
