Charles joined Bryden Wood in July of 2017 as a Junior Electrical Engineer. With experience in various sectors of electrical engineering; completing his apprenticeship working for a precious metals refinery installing and maintaining various systems and electrical devices. Charles’ is also a qualified electrician with practical knowledge of installation and maintenance in all manner of electrical fixtures and devices; both industrial and residential.
Charles was involved with the Passmore centre where he was involved in the electrical design of the project, including lighting and power calculations and modelling in Revit. Amongst doing minor work for other projects, Charles has taken on the new leisure centres, incorporating his past experience with regards to regulations; such as Health and Safety legislative requirements and BS7671 requirements for Electrical Installation into his work.
As an aspiring electrical engineer, Charles thoroughly enjoys his work in electrical design; with a long term goal to become a chartered engineer. After recently completing a higher apprenticeship in electrical engineering he is continuing his studies and has 4 years’s experience towards a HNC and Degree.
