Since graduating with a BSc in Energy Engineering in 2006 David has worked within the construction industry focusing on sustainable low energy building design. During this time he has helped deliver cost effective sustainable design on a range of projects from bespoke zero carbon residential homes to large complex multi building commercial developments. Working on projects from concept to handover has furnished David with experience in the design, construction and post occupancy evaluation of the built environment.
Achieving an MSc in Environmental and Energy Engineering in 2015 has updated David with both the latest skills in building energy modelling and a great understanding of the state of renewable technologies and low energy design. He uses this to deliver holistic building design which both meets regulatory targets and delivers real tangible benefits to building owners and occupants.
Currently David is involved with the design of schools where the building design requires the balancing of environmental and sustainability targets with ambitious design standards designed to provide the best possible learning environment for the schools occupants.
