Hernán finished his architecture studies in 2009 in the Basque Country University in San Sebastian, Spain.
Before joining Bryden Wood in August 2017, he gained experience in high-end residential, commercial, educational, office, financial and mixed-used projects in several offices in Spain, France and UK, having the chance to learn from different cultures and styles.
He is particularly interested in the use of new technologies in the construction, engineering and architecture fields, such as BIM, VR, photogrammetry, programming, parametric design and automation, which creates more efficient workflows.
Hernán has been involved in the coordination and architectural optimisation for the Battersea Power Station project in London. Thanks to his knowledge and experience with BIM workflows he has been able to make significant contributions to the redesign of the complex 4th and basement levels.
In his spare time, Hernán enjoys combining his passion for architecture with digital design, drawing and photography.
