Jacob joined Bryden Wood in November 2017 as an Associate Mechanical Engineer and is currently responsible for overseeing the mechanical services designs for government specific projects.
Jacob has worked in the industry for over 12 years and, from previous roles, he has a wide experience in a number of standard and specialist building sectors. He has recently completed work on a new build Passivhaus school project in Ealing which required full environmental modelling as well as a full mechanical services design. He also completed the thermal environmental design for the recent National Theatre temporary theatre building using specialist modelling software techniques.
Jacob has worked on a number of healthcare projects including specialist MRI units and a new build dementia care facility in Norwich which employed a number of integrated renewable technologies. He has extensive experience in the design of mixed use residential and commercial developments with district energy distribution systems, commercial kitchens and leisure facilities.
