Originally from Liverpool, John joined Bryden Wood in June of 2018, after nine years living in Sydney Australia, where he worked for a Structural / Civil Engineering Consultancy that specialised in the Industrial & Residential Sectors
Having been Drafting and Detailing Structural Design Information for over a decade, John has a wide range of experience with the detailing of Steelwork and Concrete. For the past five years he has been working with Revit to help bring those designs to life in the 3D space.
Previously Johns trade was as a Coded Welder / Steelwork Fabricator working on large complex Steelwork Frames, which gives him further insight into steelwork design & construction.
John joined Bryden Wood to increase his level of ability in the BIM design sphere and work on some of the innovative and creative projects the company are involved in. Since starting John has assisted the team on a number of projects such as the Ministry of Justice Prison Scheme and the Sugar House Island Regeneration Project, as well as being the Structural BIM Lead for the Equinix Data Centre projects.
