Massimiliano is a Building Engineer-Architect with 5 years experience in the field of Structural Engineering. He qualified as chartered engineer in Italy in 2012 and, since then, he specialised in Building Information Modelling.
He worked at New Engineering Srl (Trento - Italy) as Revit Specialist - BIM Manager, designing 3D/4D models of several constructions as well as developing standards and processes into new projects. During his employment he has strengthened his great interest in off-site construction and modular systems, especially using Cross Laminated Timber, and gained experience in site management.
This experience gave him the opportunity to develop an excellent ability to use Revit in a structural engineering environment and to expand his knowledge in Structural design and Competitive tenders, providing technical support to building contractors.
He moved to London in 2015 and joined Elliott Wood Partnership Ltd. Working as Revit Technician Massimiliano was responsible for creating, coordinating and managing the model of various structures, including hotels, schools and residential schemes, from early design stage to construction.
His responsibilities included liaising with specialists (architects and MEP engineers) for 3D model conflict resolution, in addition to rendering and image post-production in order to create images for marketing and publicity.
Massimiliano joined Bryden Wood in April 2017, planning to explore new ways of designing and widening his vision with regard to BIM concepts, and since then he has worked full-time on the multi million pound regeneration Sugar House Island project in East London.
