Yannis Vrachoritis is a professional and highly committed personality with in-depth research experience in Engineering during his MSc in Renewable Energy and Environmental Modelling and received significant praise for showing good practical aspects.
His previous working experience in Green Switch Solutions as a Renewable Energy Design engineer gave him the opportunity to further expand his knowledge on communication, flexibility, team work, and attention to detail, while at the same time giving him a lot of experience in working under demanding and time limited projects. During this time he worked with complex solar PV projects such as solar farms, domestic and commercial rooftops throughout England and Scotland. He was expertise in CAD design of PV layouts as well as in PVSOL/PVSYST simulations for accurate calculations of photovoltaic systems by collaborating with the internal Legal, Planning and Construction departments.
Yannis joined Bryden Wood in May 2017 as a Graduate Electrical Engineer by supporting the Senior Engineers for Sugar House Island project, a new big residential development in Stratford. His responsibilities include but are not limited, the modelling of the electrical equipment in the buildings by using Revit as well as the design and visualization of several lighting calculations for apartments and outdoor scenes with the use of Dialux Evo software.
